Particle Board

Particle board (also known as chipboard) is an engineered wood product made by processing wood or other lignocellulosic raw materials into small chips or flakes, mixing them with an adhesive, and hot-pressing the mixture. It typically features a three-layer gradient structure: fine particles on the top and bottom surfaces and coarser particles in the core, balancing surface smoothness with core strength.

Standard thicknesses: 9 / 12 / 15 / 18 / 25 mm (with 18 mm being the standard for cabinet carcasses)

Variants: Moisture-resistant particle board (features a green core with added moisture-resistant agents; suitable for kitchens); OSB (Oriented Strand Board) does not fall into this category.
